About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SDI Recordings handles information in connection with the SDI Release Manager, a private internal application used only by a small number of specifically authorized SDI Recordings personnel and key stakeholders.

The SDI Release Manager is not offered to the public. It is used internally to prepare, upload, publish, and manage SDI Recordings content, including content published to YouTube.

YouTube API Services

The SDI Release Manager uses Google OAuth 2.0 and YouTube API Services, including the YouTube Data API v3, for authorized YouTube publishing and management functions.

Use of YouTube-related functionality is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s Privacy Policy describes Google’s handling of information.

Information Accessed

When an authorized user connects a Google or YouTube account, the application may access information necessary for the functions requested by that user, including Google or YouTube account/channel identification, channel information, video IDs, titles, descriptions, tags, categories, thumbnails, privacy/visibility status, upload and processing status, and information about videos uploaded or managed through the application.

The SDI Release Manager does not request or store Google or YouTube passwords. Authentication is handled through Google’s OAuth 2.0 system.

How Information Is Used

Google and YouTube data is used only for authorized internal SDI Recordings functionality, including connecting an authorized channel; uploading videos; applying titles, descriptions, tags, categories, thumbnails and related metadata; setting visibility as directed by an authorized user; checking upload and processing status; identifying managed videos; and updating or deleting YouTube content when specifically initiated or approved by an authorized user.

Google or YouTube user data is not sold, used for data brokerage, or used for unrelated advertising or profiling.

Google API Services User Data Policy

SDI Recordings’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

OAuth Credentials

The application may securely store OAuth access and refresh tokens when necessary to maintain an authorized connection. These credentials are used only for authorized Google or YouTube API requests and are not sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Storage, Retention, and Deletion

SDI Recordings stores only Google and YouTube API data reasonably necessary to operate the internal application and support authorized release-management activity. Stored API data is refreshed, updated, or deleted as required by applicable Google and YouTube policies.

Following revocation of authorization, applicable stored Authorized Data will be deleted as soon as possible and within the period required by YouTube API Services policies.

Sharing

SDI Recordings does not sell Google or YouTube user data. Information may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, security, or technical service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate or protect the application, or disclosed where required by law.

User Control

Authenticated YouTube actions are performed only for users who granted the required permissions. Authorized users retain final control over actions that insert, upload, update, publish, change visibility, or delete YouTube content. The application is not intended to perform those actions without the authorized user’s instruction or approval.

Revoking Access

Authorized users may revoke the SDI Release Manager’s Google access through Google account permissions. Revocation prevents future authenticated API requests under that authorization but does not automatically remove content already stored by YouTube.

Data Deletion Requests

Authorized users may request deletion of Google or YouTube-related information stored by the SDI Release Manager by emailing info@sdirecordings.com. Applicable stored data will be deleted in accordance with Google and YouTube requirements and applicable law.

Security

SDI Recordings uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information handled by the SDI Release Manager, including restricted access, authentication controls, secure network communications, and protection of stored credentials.

Private Internal Application

The SDI Release Manager is a private internal SDI Recordings tool. This publicly available policy is provided for transparency and API compliance and does not grant or provide public access to the application.

Terms and Contact

Use of the SDI Release Manager is also subject to the SDI Recordings Terms of Service.
